Product Version = NetBeans IDE 7.0 Beta 2 (Build 201102140001) Operating System = Windows 7 version 6.1 running on amd64 Java; VM; Vendor = 1.6.0_24 Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 19.1-b02 When I press CTRL + SHIFT + H I get a window to replace. 1. in the window the button shows find and not replace. 2. When I click the button it searches, not replaces.
works for me in Nb 7.0 Rc1 ... it's context action, where exactly was your cursor at time you invoked Ctrl+Shift+H ?
This is a usability problem. If you hit the Find button, all candidates for replacement are found. You then select which occurrences of the search string should be replaced with the replace string. You than apply the changes by clicking Replace button on the left (in NetBeans 7.0.1). The intuitiveness of UI should be improved, changing to ENHANCEMENT.
