Product Version: NetBeans IDE 6.8 (Build 100326-unknown-revn) Java: 1.6.0_20; OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM 19.0-b09 When Navigator is started either by entering at Windows > Navigating > Navigator or with Ctrl + 7, the Navigator loads but with the text "Please Wait", it never loads the classes and methods at first. It starts working correctly when I click on another file. This is a problem only happening when loading the Navigator for the first time.
Possibly I have remember this problem, but I think it was already fixed. Could you try newer build? NetBeans 6.8 is really old. I'm marking this as fixed, please reopen, if you find that it doesn't work in NetBeans dev build. Thanks.
I have now tested latest trunk version: Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 201101180000) It works correctly there. I was using 6.8 version as it was latest version available at Ubuntu Software Center, but now I have switched.
Thanks for the message.
Product Version: NetBeans IDE 8.0.2 (Build 201411181905) Updates: NetBeans IDE is updated to version NetBeans 8.0.2 Patch 1 Java: 1.7.0_75; OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM 24.75-b04 Runtime: OpenJDK Runtime Environment 1.7.0_75-b13 System: Linux version 3.13.0-36-generic running on amd64; UTF-8; en_US (nb) I am having the exact same issue, and I'm using NetBeans 8.0.2. When I first open the navigator window, it says "Please Wait" and never loads. It starts working as soon as I go to another file. Reopening this bug. I should also note that I am doing C/C++ development, not PHP like the OP.
For js stuff and php it works correctly. It can happen for some files, which doesn't show a content in the navigator. For which file type it doesn't work for you? This issue should be already fixed in dev build, so I'm closing it as fixed. Please reopen, if it doesn't work for you in development build and also write for which file type doesn't work for you. Thanks.
