Product Version = NetBeans IDE 6.9.1 (Build 201011082200) Operating System = Windows 7 version 6.1 running on amd64 Java; VM; Vendor = 1.6.0_21 Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 17.0-b17 Quite often with a complex project the graphic editor locks up. When I try to open a dialog in design mode the hourglass appears and nothing more happens the IDE is locked up. The only way out is to kill the Netbeans process, reload Netbeans, unload the big project, load a small project and open a small dialog (I usually open the AboutBox dialog). Sometimes I have to repeat the above steps two or three times and finally the IDE designer unlocks, the Palette pane fills up and everithing works as expected. As long as the IDE is kept open no more looks happens but the problem reappears closing the IDE and reopening it.
