Description areeda 2010-11-23 16:53:10 UTC
[ BUILD # : 201011152355 ]
[ JDK VERSION : 1.6.21 ]

I've seen this several times but it is intermittent and I don't have a
repeatable pattern to produce it.

On exit (I choose File/Exit or Click the Red X close button on the main window)
the program closes then Windows pops up its "Stopped Working" dialog.

I will try to add a screen shot of the error dialog (after this quick report).
The details button produces:

I have been trying to get a repeatable scenario to reproduce this.

I have about a 50% success rate opening a clean JUnit Test project from http://wiki.netbeans.org/TS_68_JUnit then creating JUnit 4.x tests on the teststorun package then exiting by closing the main window. But sometimes it exits cleanly usually in spurts, fail 5 times in a row then work 5 times in a row. No wonder it's not fixed yet.

Right now I suspect some background task may need to be running which doesn't respond to the interrupted event/exception correctly, but I'm still lacking proof.

Hmm, this is famous Win7/x64 issue ... check google. Nothing to do with Java/NetBeans ... for example :http://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio/feedback/details/571980/vs-2010-crashes-on-project-build
