Product Version = NetBeans IDE 7.0 M2 (Build 201010121358)
Operating System = Mac OS X version 10.6.4 running on x86_64
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.6.0_20
Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 16.3-b01-279

Steps to reproduce:
1) install NB 7.0 m2 build 201010121358
2) go to Tools -> Plugins, select tab Available Plugins and click Reload Catalog

Hm, strange. Works almost instantly for me in #201010112200.

your finding is correct, unfortunately in the build you referred the UC URL was not set correctly according to NB 7m2 branding needs.

It is updates.netbeans.org site problem. The download fails even if I put the UC URL into browser. I'll try to reload the catalogs.

Should be fixed. According to my test, new catalogs got finally propagated.
