Apparently in the 0329 version of the IDE, the mouse-over on a variable or
attribute is not displaying the value in a message box as it does in 6.8.

Seems to work for me in the latest build (100331) - if the issue doesn't go away when you update your build, can you please provide an example where this doesn't work? I haven't really done any changes in this area since 6.8, so it may be just a random issue in the the backend or a glitch in 0329 in the NB debugger infrastructure.
