Description dlipin 2009-11-12 00:37:32 UTC
It seems that we still have single sign-on issues.

1)
At the moment of writing this issue I`m logged into the IssueZilla, certainly.
From the other hand, opening the Community page
http://netbeans.org/community/index.html
shows that I`m not logged into nb.org site itself
Not logged in. <link>Log in</link>, <link>Register</link>

2)
Moreover, we have 2 different login forms there - in IssueZilla and on nb.org site. The first one additionally propose to "limit session to this IP for security", the second one - to "Remember me on this computer". Both should be unified. Please also make "Limit session to this IP" be disabled by default.

3)
Logging out of the nb.org, does not get me logged out of IZ.

4)
Does cookies still have the expiration period? I remember I logged into IZ yesterday, and today I have to do the same again. For sure, I didn`t make the logout explicitly.
I guess we fought against that in Collab environment for a long time but looks like we still have the same with Kenai, see Issue 13479.

Hi Dima,

the issue is already reported as http://kenai.com/jira/browse/KENAI-1350

Thanks,

P

Since Lea doesn't work for Oracle or on Kenai anymore, we might want to reassign this to an actual person that can and might do something to resolve the problem...

I do not know who that person would be... If I did, these issues would be assigned to them when I committed this comment.
