68cat: Groovy support allows selected text to be enclosed by quotes or brackets by simply typing the appropriate character. So, select 1+x and you get (1+x). Neat, but just when I got used to this and got back to editing a Java file 1+x just got replaced by (. Whilst the substitution idea is cool, it is different usage from Java and that does sometimes catch me out... We should make this consistent across the IDE.
