When renaming a tag handler class using the refactor dialog, the tag entry in the associated tld file is not affected.

This is a known missing functionality. Denis, could you please look at this when you are done with your current tasks?

Though I am not sure if we have a model for TLDs which would allow us to do this.

There is a model for TLD file in web.core module.
This model is based on schema2beans.

This model is read-only. It is intended for TLD information reading in OM manner.
So it cannot be used for writing which is required for refactoring.

One needs to adopt this model for writing. But this is essential source code change.
This is new feature actually.

So I mark this is as enhancement.
It is too risky for fix it at current moment.

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
