Description ucho 2009-06-29 16:13:03 UTC
I always installed NetBeans using "-javahome" switch becouse I have JDK installed in home directory. It always worked
with any nighty snapshot or beta version. But since first RC i get "No compatible java enviroment was found" warning at
first installer screen. When i select direcotry with JDK i get : "An unknown error occured while validating the path".
It behaves same way with jdk 6.0.11/14 in my home dir and with 6.0.12 from debian(lenny) packages. How can I get info
about what is wrong?

BTW, the correct argument name is "--javahome".
To get more info run installer also with --verbose argument.

Verbose helped, it was as simple as out of memory error. I think it could be a bit more verbose
