In both webapp and jar projects, I add a new java class file in the source directory. Then select CVS-> show changes for the project. The new file is displayed as locally new. But if I double-click it in the list of changed files, the diff window momentarily displays it, then it disappears from the diff window and from the list of changed files, and is automatically marked as ignored. If I select CVS->show changes for the project again, it is un-marked as ignored and added back to the list of changed files. Being in the habit of double clicking each changed file in the list to review the changes just before I commit, this is annoying that it automatically marks new files as ignored. I've only been using CVS a couple months - is this intentional CVS/Netbeans behaviour? Product Version: NetBeans IDE 6.5 (Build 200811100001) Java: 1.6.0_02; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.6.0_02-b06
I see this no longer occurs in 6.8 - the file is no longer automatically marked as ignored.
must be fixed then thanks
