I find often that when performing a CVS update the NetBeand CVS component will ignore new remote folders. This does not
always seem to happen, but only sometimes.

Does anyone have any clue why this is happening?

Sigh. I didn't see this one when I added mine, as I call them 'directories', being from the Unix world.

I've *never* seen NetBeans pick up a new folder/directory, except through a process I just described on bug 161811.

I'm pretty sure it's because the NetBeans team implemented basic cvs functionality as documented by the default
operations of the open source CVS commands, without stopping to think about the implications of doing that without
adding the capability to specify options.
