Description _ hlu 2001-08-15 22:19:19 UTC
Build ce010814 on Solaris8:
To reproduce:
1.Create a html page and execute it.
2.Add something into the html page and save the change.
3.Execute(Force Reload) the html page.
4.Netscape showed the old page instead of the changed the page.
if press reload button in the Netscape browser, then the changed the html page
will appear.

I tried it on windowsNT and there is no problem to reload the new page.

It seems to me that this is not a web module bug. If you have the
described problems try to do the some with JSP and Servlet - it should
be the some.

You wrote that after reload of the page the content was O.K. - it
means that the server have already contained right version of the page
but the page has not been reloaded in your browser.

I would suggest to reassign this bug to HTML browser module. If you
agree I will do it. If not then send me more informations about the bug.

Check preferences of your browser. The browser must always reloads
content of page to get it working correctly. The behaviour has to be
the same when servlets or JSP are displayed.
