View attached image. When using two monitors, if they are arranged so that they don't line up vertically and if NetBeans is in the right monitor and I open a context menu from the line number column, I won't be able to see it as it'll open in an area where there is no screen coverage (see red rectangle in attached picture). Opening a context menu lower on the right screen where the two monitor overlap will show the context menu on the left screen. Hope this is understandable. Is this specific to NetBeans? To Java? Or all applications? Thanks
As far as I can determine, it's specific to netbeans. I have not been able to find any other program that will try to open a context menu on the left monitor if the window you're clicking in is in the right monitor. I can try out stuff if necessary.
Umm, does the same happen with other popup menus (eg. in editor, on project view nodes, navigator nodes) and with the main menu? In fact there is nothing special about the line number popup menu, it's just an ordinary swing popup menu... So, I suspect that any swing application may suffer from the same problem.
Please provide requested information, thanks. It sounds more like an Apple JDK bug/MacOS window system bug anyway. Thanks.
