Type the beginning of a keyword, invoke CC, choose that keyword in a list. No details window appears. Perhaps it should.
I don't think it is a bug, we don't have it in Java editor. Sometimes it could be useful, esp. if it contained usage samples. Changing issue type to enhancement
This is not desirable to have this implemented, either in Java or PHP.
We decided it would be useful to have it, especially for showing PHP version compatibility.

No, I'm still not sure whether it should be in the IDE or not. I'll evaluate it for 8.0 again.

Yes, because this feature has never been implemented ;)
It should be removed from the sanity test then ;-)
In Sanity TS there is line: Verify documentation hints for keywords. 1. Check #199406 It is becase this issue was still opened and I don't know if this functionality will be implemented. As soon as this issue is closed/resolved, I will update Sanity Test Suite.
