Description mclaassen 2007-11-20 15:46:00 UTC
I profiled my application and saved to memory snapshots. I then did the "Save As" and it brought up a dialog. That
dialog only the Desktop and My Documents directories, it did not show any drive roots.

I selected My Documents and entered the name "one" and pressed enter. It then asks if I want to create a directory. If
I say "yes", it creates the directory. I then choose "Save As" again, and still no matter what directory I choose, it
asks me if I want to create another directory and will never save the snapshot.

Product Version: NetBeans IDE 6.0 RC1 (Build 200711131200)
Java: 1.6.0_01; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.6.0_01-b06
System: Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86; Cp1252; en_US (nb)
Userdir: C:\Documents and Settings\mac\.netbeans\6.0rc1

Comment 2 Jiri Sedlacek 2008-07-22 16:37:38 UTC
I'm unable to reproduce the problem using NetBeans IDE 6.5 Milestone 1:

 1/ Taken Memory snapshot
 2/ Invoked Save As action
3/ Select File or Directory dialog appeared, initially My Documents folder contents was displayed
4/ Typed "one" into File name textfield and pressed Enter
5/ Memory snapshot was saved into "one.nps" in My Documents folder

Could you please verify that this problem is still present?

Note that you have to select Desktop and then My Computer in Save in dropdown to see disks in the dialog.
