Description algnod 2007-09-04 20:53:02 UTC
- Choose a dark font & color profile like Norway Today or City Lights in the options dialog
- The category Identifier includes class names in Java but does not seem to in Ruby, which means that
ruby class names are displayed black on black

Have you restarted the IDE? I know it takes a restart for all the color stuff to get refreshed.

Also, I fixed a bunch of Ruby-specific problems with the Norway Today theme a couple of nights ago (just in time for
beta1) so if you're not using a current build (such as one from http://deadlock.netbeans.org/hudson/job/ruby/ today) try
taht.

Hi Tor,

I filed the bug using NB6M10. I restarted the IDE like you suggested but it did not work.
I now downloaded and installed the hudson build (3688). The issue is resolved using profile Norway Today, but remains
with City Lights (even after restarting the IDE).

Let me know if there is anything I could do to help,
thanks for your effort and time,
Alex

Never mind my last comment.
If you choose profile City Lights you need to select language Ruby and the category "Constant".
Here the foreground is set to black by default but should be something else.
I figure the configurations for the different profiles are set in some config file?
Thanks again,
Alex
