The open file dialog is a great addition, but I still find it a little too slow for my taste.  The initial population
seems to take greater than a second, sometimes up to 2 or 3.  I'd prefer it if the list responded with at least some
entries within a few hundred milliseconds of me entering characters into the search field.

Perhaps the contents could be remembered between uses?  I would be ok with the speed if it was only an initial hit, with
subsequent uses faster.
