When I try to drag a document from the editor pane and move it outside the application window, the IDE creates a new window for this document. It's fine, but it doesn’t work if I move the document on another monitor. Now I should make the IDE window smaller, move the document outside of it (but on the same monitor), and drop the document. IDE then creates a new window with this document. In the second step I can drag this new window on another monitor without problems. In the third step I can again maximize the original IDE window. It would be fine to be able to make it on one step, it means to be able to move the document directly on another monitor and let make there the window of it own.
I can't reproduce on my Vista box, I can move document to another monitor easily just by one DnD operation. Stando please could you try on win XP please, thanks. Reporter, is there anything special in your setup? Some windows maximized, perhaps? IDE in full screen mode? Please specify whole set of steps in detail how to reproduce this bug and reopen if the bug still persists, thank you.
