I am trying to configure CVS with NB 5.5. i had installed WinCVS 2.0 & CVSNT 2.051.d. i make a folder f:\CVSRepository as CVS repository on my system itself. When i don't how i should start ;because first i need to checkin some thing then i can checkout and there is no option for setting cvs server as well as checkIn file. I tried check out option; i used local & /CVSNT as repository path. cvsnt i had set in cvsnt which is pointing to f:\CVSRepository. but i am NB giving me a message that not able to find repository. Thanks Nikhil Gothankar
There is a "Start | Control Panel | CVSNT". Open it and switch to "Repository Configration" tab. If there is no record in the below then "Add" repository. (Repository must be initialized). After that use the the repository from the column "Name". So the cvsroot field should be something like this: ":local:/my/cvsrepo". "javacvs" client can't handle back slashes and drive letters in cvsroot string.
Thanks for the input. I think already mentioned these setting in initial query. but i am sorry; after doing all the things again. same result. Thanks Nikhil Gothankar
