The answer was "ansi", i only had to type the infocmp command from the
terminalemilator from netbeans ;-)

So now, i am in the same state as netbeans. All that is left is to try
to improve the terminalemulator and/or to build the gui around it.

Thanks for your pointers for the pty options !
