Jirka,

Great.

Here is the issue I filed [1]
<https://netbeans.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=229038> with installation
logfile. You will see in the logfile, it is always exactly 10 min. and
there is mention of a "timeout" in there.
Based on your log:
1) downloading JUnit starts:
[2013-04-25 18:36:05.452]:     [stdout]: Downloading JUnit
2) downloading ends
3) downloading JUnit4 starts:
[2013-04-25 18:36:07.574]:     [stdout]: Downloading JUnit 4
4) ends and unpack:
[2013-04-25 18:36:08.510]: [stdout]: Unpacking org-netbeans-modules-junitlib.nbm

it's clear now there is no problem with proxy nor access the network, all network related things takes a few seconds.

after the JUnit download the execution didn't end and left in idle for 10 min. w/o any reason. See:

[2013-04-25 18:36:19.555]: [stderr]: INFO [org.netbeans.core.ui.warmup.DiagnosticTask]: Total memory 5,874,503,680
[2013-04-25 18:46:19.564]:     [return]: killed by timeout

The problem is in staying in idle mode instead of closing and that problem has to be fixed.

Sure send me a command.
It's not needed now.

Thanks a lot,
Jirka

Mark

Mark, it's strange. Are you connected to inet directly when you install
latest dev build, or you are behind a network proxy? Is there the 10min
timeout every time or from time to time? If it's always can I send you a
command which might help to investigate it.

Thanks,
Jirka
