For latest daily builds  jpql editor is enabled for web projects and it's really nice to get some feedback including bug reports if it works properly or good enough to enable for 7.3.
Thanks, Sergey

I understand the difficulty of implementation but I would venture to guess that most projects using JPA are Java EE projects, therefore this feature won't be available for most projects using JPA.

Maven Java EE Project, I right click on persistence.xml, "Run JPQL Query" is grayed out.

Is this feature already developed and ready for testing?
Is it available for Maven projects?
see some comments in

as it seems to mislead users I'll try to remove disabled items soon but issue can be filed also (to remove from ee for now)

Sergey

If the answer for both of the above is true, should I file a bug?
