Hi,
1) -J-Djava.library.path=/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/jni - do not use this property yourself, instead set the path in Tools->Options->Misc->Versioning->Subversion - Path to the client libraries folder and select the preferred client JavaHL.
2) in the messages log there should be more regarding JavaHL. If the IDE fails to load JavaHL libraries it usually prints also missing dependencies. Are you sure there are no related messages preceding INFO [org.netbeans.modules.subversion.client.SvnClientFactory]: JavaHL not available. Falling back on SvnKit. ?

Hi Guys

IDE does not use JavaHL but fails back to SvnKit although I do have libsvn-java installed.

INFO [org.netbeans.modules.subversion.client.SvnClientFactory]: JavaHL not available. Falling back on SvnKit.
$ sudo apt-show-versions libsvn-java
libsvn-java/precise uptodate 1.7.7-0ubuntu0~ppa5

Product Version:

NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 201210180002)

Java:

1.7.0_09; Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 23.5-b02

System:

Linux version 3.2.0-32-generic running on amd64; UTF-8; en_US (nb)
Running Ubuntu 12.04

I had to add -J-Djava.library.path=/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/jni to the default options to get JavaHL to be used.

Does anyone else has the same problem or I just messed something when installing the latest Java JDK?
