Jiri,
What do you mean by unreliable?

Glenn,
I have run several queries in the editor now and it seems Command+shift+E works fine for me , Is connection selected from connection breakdown? If it is not then netbeans des not complain and does nothing on Command+shift+E

The only complain is that query results is overlapped by output,  i.e. i have to minimize the output window to observe results, but i guess this is by design :D

On the other hand SQL Editor (syntax coloring & tables/columns completion) is somehow unreliable for me. :(

Anyone else?

In 7.1.1, has anyone else noticed the ctrl-shift-E shortcut (execute
SQL) not working in the Database Explorer?
