Hello,

I'm using netbeans debugger to debug an external J2EE project.  I have an Ant
build that compiles the project and Tomcat is reload the classes and
redeploying.

I'm using Attach debugger to debug the project within Netbeans.  The problem
is when I make changes in the IDE to the source files, the debugger doesn't
update it's current session to the new code changes.  Things seem to work
great for external Jar files that are potentially recompiled, but when it
comes to class files, the changes don't seem to be picked up.

I've tried some project.properties hacks (build.classes.dir) and I've also
include the classes folder as a library into the project.

How can I get netbeans to pick up class file changes and automatically update
the debugger session?

Thanks!

If the "fix" button doesn't work, I'll recommend you to try jRebel.

Regards,

Edson Richter
