Since you have not posted what are you using, I'm assuming you are using JSP in NetBeans.

For the first question, yes - but you can customize the context name editing the file context.xml file and adding the name you want.

For second question, I usually copy the file using my Explorer (or Nauthilus) and then I past into the correct folder in NetBeans. If it doesn't work, you can paste into the source folder of your project, and NetBeans should detect it.
