It works!

Edson, you were right on. I didn't even realize that I was accessing my
project on a network. I made a new project locally and I can do exactly what
I have been trying to do all along!

Thanks to you and everyone else who have been so patient and helpful. Now I
can finally keep working on my project.

One last little thing is that when I update a JPanel that is being used
somewhere else, I have to close and re-open that class in order for the
changes to be shown in the GUI builder. Is this common behavior? It's not
really a big problem since the changes are always correct when I run the
project but I figured I'd ask anyway.

Thanks again!

Few years ago, when I was using GUI builder, I used to have "Ctrl+R" for reloading form.
Don't know if still works...

Regards,

Edson
