I have a strange problem with the latest netbeans:

Product Version: NetBeans IDE 7.2.1 (Build 201210100934)
Java: 1.6.0_26; Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 20.1-b02
System: Linux version 2.6.32-5-amd64 running on amd64; ANSI_X3.4-1968; en_US
(nb)

I am working with a remote GlassFish server, and I have turned off the master
password facility by setting "-J-DNetBeans.keyring.no.master=true" in
etc/NetBeans.conf. So, when I connect to the Glassfish server, it asks me for
a usrname and password; I can type in the username, but I can't type anything
in the password field. I can type the password string in another place and
copy/paste it into the password field where it shows as a row of dots; this
works, but is a nuissance. And it used to work in previous versions.
