Nephelus:

JPanel is not a custom Component.

Are you trying to add your TestJPanel to a JFrame or another JPanel in
the GUI builder?

If that is what you are attempting to do, you have to compile your
TestJPanel, open the palette manager (right click on the Palette) and
create a category for your Components.  In the projects tab right
click your compiled TestJPanel and go to tools>add to palette.  Select
your category.

Subsequently, when you go to the Palette you will find your category
with your TestJPanel.  Now you can drag that Component into a JFrame
or JPanel.

Hope this is where you were trying to get.  If not, please let us know
what happens per Edson's last request.
