Hi,

just a heads up, maybe well known but I had to research a bit to fix it:

If you install Wine, or anything depending on "fonts-unfonts-core", there's one font which breaks rendering of Swing apps, so that all Label's use bold font.
This will fix it:

    sudo apt-get remove fonts-unfonts-core
