Hi,

I am trying to exclude certain files when Git Commit is executed. I added the
file to the .gitignore as per the normal convention and netbeans
documentation, but when I run commit, I still see the file listed.

this is how my .gitignore file looks like:
================
tmp/
.htaccess
.DS_Store
application/logs/log-*
/nbproject/private/
/application/cache/
/application/config/database.php
.gitignore

Please see the attached file, see how it still shows all the files including
.gitignore and database.php in the commit list.

What I am doing wrong here ?

Thanks.
