Been a while and still no response. Thought I'd ask again if anyone knows why Netbeans is trying to delete my user folder.

I've been running Netbeans 6.5 (on Windows XP 32bit in the past, now Windows 7) almost since its initial release. I was always having random problems with Netbeans clean/build projects when it says BUILD FAILED: Unable to delete file C:\Users\Tim'. Very disconcerting that Netbeans is trying to delete my home folder? However when this happens, I usually just hit clean/build again, and it would work just fine. I ignored it and went on.

Yesterday, I upgraded to Netbeans 6.8, and I find that the exact same problem is far more consistent. Worse yet, I just received this new error trying to build my project.

"The J2SE Platform is not correctly set up.
Your active platform is: JDK_1.5, but the corresponding property "platforms.JDK_1.5.home" is not found in the project's properties files.
Either open the project in the IDE and setup the Platform with the same name or add it manually.
For example like this:
ant -Duser.properties.file=<path_to_property_file> jar (where you put the property "platforms.JDK_1.5.home" in a .properties file)
or ant -Dplatforms.JDK_1.5.home=<path_to_JDK_home> jar (where no properties file is used)"

When I go into Tools->JavaPlatforms, my JDK1.5 is showed just fine (C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_19).

Even more frustrating, I hit clean/build again, and it worked just fine.

I love what the Netbeans tool provides me and the capabilities it has. However I'm really questioning the reliability. How can this problem be fixed? Please let me know if I can provide more information.
