Hi all,

I am currently working on integrating ScalaTest (scalatest.org
<http://scalatest.org>) into NetBeans's Scala support.  I am trying to
figure out a way to reuse the result view when running JUnit test, would
appreciate if some one could point me to the right module/place in the
NetBeans module that I could extend/reuse,

best would be to start looking at module gsf.testrunner - the test window component is defined there as well as some other useful APIs,
for the implementation/usage see ie maven.junit (as Milos pointed out already) or ie junit module or php.project or testng modules (the last one is available in 7.2-dev only)

or may be a quick high-level
explanation on how the current JUnit support works.

depends on underlying build tool
for Ant there's "special" impl of AntLogger -> Reader/parser -> UI component cycle, for Maven similar mechanism of reading output is used, I think. But you could also just rely on some "well-known" location with results and update UI after all tests are finished.

Thanks a lot in advanced!
