I put two TopComponents in the same module as you suggests and now the 
operator instanceof works.

Code:

//..
  private Lookup.Result<Element> result;
//..  
   public void resultChanged(LookupEvent ev) {
        for(Object o: result.allInstances()){
           if(o instanceof Element){
            //..
         }
      }
   }


 

From "Navigate> Go to type" menu I noticed that there were more than one 
entries of Element class and entries of Element interfaces.

Code:

Class Element (com.sun.corba.se.impl.oa.toa)
Class Element (javax.swing.text.html.parser)




But in my code I have only org.jsoup.nodes.Element import.
