That is perhaps true.

The cache timestamps are compared to "lastModified" files. Either each 
$cluster/.lastModified or directly $cachedir/lastModified/* files. In case 
you 
change timestamp of one of these files on exit (in @OnStop method), you will 
very likely invalidate the cache.

Verify with -J-Dorg.netbeans.Stamps.level=FINE
