The combination is less than ideal.  The source editor seems to be unaware of 
the header files in target/generated-sources/c++, although the NAR plugin is 
configured to look there and is finding them.  So there are unnecessary 
warnings about missing headers which will be found at compile time, and 
completion-hinting is somewhat hit-or-miss.  The project behaves like a Java 
project, not a C++ project, although the project view does understand what 
.cc and .hxx (but not .hh!) files are.

I feel that I'm using big slathers of Maven "glue" to stick things together 
when they don't want to go.  Since I'm ignoring a lot of the stuff that the 
NAR plugin seems to have been mainly meant for, it might be a lot better if 
there were some way to make NetBeans' C++ view natively aware of 
source-generators and their outputs.  At this point I'm not up to providing 
such support myself.
