The problem here is that any -lxxxx flag is in fact a linker flag. So look into linker options and try to add crypt library. You do not need -lcrypt at compilation line.

I'm running netbeans on ubunto and on my project I want to use the crypt
function so I need to compile with the -lcrypt flag.

I go to Set project configuration and on Build -> C Compiler options, in
Additional Options i set this -Wall -ansi -pedantic

This works as expected if I don't use the crypt function.

If I use the crypt function I add the additional -lcrypt to  the additional

This does not work.

On terminal to the crypt function get to work I have to compile like gcc "some
flags" main.c -o main -lcrypt

On geany I have to set the builds commands like:
gcc -Wall -o "%e" "%f" -lcrypt
and this works.

Want to use netbeans but can't set the flag -lcrypt.

Any ideas?
