Hello,

I have lately switched from Eclipse CDT to Netbeans. However now facing a bizzare
problem as attempting to run my project I receive this; "pty: can't execute:
{MY-WORKSPACE}/Distributed-Chang-Roberts-Spanning-Tree/dist/Release/GNU-Linux-x86/distributed-chang-roberts-spanning-tree:
 Permission denied"

What's more curious is when I try to manually change its permissions my attempt have no
effect and it statically stays as "-rw-------".

What would be the problem here? And What could I do?

Could you, please, provide some more details?
- what is the version of NetBeans?
- what is your umask (run 'umask' in a terminal. Usually it should be 0002. If you have something like 0177 the this is the answer - in this case compiler produces a file that cannot be executed...) ?
