            Bug ID: 234899
        Issue Type: ENHANCEMENT
Summary: "Platform Modules" GUI in Project Properties for
Maven-based platform projects (like for Ant)
           Product: apisupport
           Version: 7.4
          Hardware: Macintosh
                OS: Mac OS X
            Status: NEW
          Priority: P3
         Component: Maven
          Assignee:

          Reporter:

        QA Contact:

In Ant-based NetBeans Platform projects, the "Project Properties" dialog has a
"Libraries" category with a "Platform Modules" GUI for selecting platform
module dependencies. The GUI shows the display names of each available
NetBeans
module grouped by cluster, and allows each module to be checked or unchecked.
The GUI shows an error message if a module is checked which requires a
different module which is unchecked, and provides a "Resolve" button to
automatically check off additional required modules until all transitive
dependencies have been satisfied.

The "Platform Modules" GUI currently only exists for Ant-based NetBeans
Platform projects. It would be great if something similar could be supported
from Maven-based platform projects.
