Opening diagrams by double clicking usually hangs the UI for several seconds the first time a UML diagram is opened during a session (probably lots of classloading); later ones are faster but still longer than UI responsiveness guidelines allow. A wait cursor would indicate to the user that something is happening; alternatively, open the component immediately with some wait feedback there, then do the time-consuming work in the background and populate the component. I think this should be a P2. Many actions cause the IDE to appear to hang
I'll revert the priority to P3 and send an email complaining about the lack of a hourglass cursor
Hourglass cursor can be obtained with http://www.netbeans.org/download/dev/javadoc/org-openide-util/org/openide/util/Utilities.html#createProgressCursor(java.awt.Component)
Removing obsolete assignments. Bugs will be reassigned for M2.
