On Mac, run the installer and change default installation directory. Exception
comes and further installation is not possible.

What version? What product? We have no installer for IDE on Mac. We provide
tar.gz of IDE with Mac app in archive.

Please attach installation log. It can be found at ~/.nbi/log.
What bundle have you used? What features were selected for the bundle creation?

I see the issue and it has just been fixed (both in trunk and special branch 
for NetBeans 6.0 M8). 

In trunk:

In milestone13a (for NetBeans 6.0 M8) branch:
