I am closing this issue. The link to the installation instructions from the NB M8 download page http://nbi.netbeans.org/60-m8/download.html points to the updated version of the instructions http://nbi.netbeans.org/docs/install-60-m8.html

You're right. I fixed the link only in one place. Reopening the issue. We will fix the link from the page with daily builds
I`ve update the "Installation Instruction" link in the daily builds. Please verify on build > 200704090600.
Verified on daily build 200704091900 (http://sultan.sfbay.sun.com/nbi/6.0/daily/200704091900/). Now installation instruction link is http://nbi.netbeans.org/docs/install-60-m8.html
