to check the message in UI:
  - Right click the  Project node in the Project window
  - Select Profperties
  - Open C/C++ node

"GNU C Compiler" and "GNU C++ Compiler" are listed. Those strings can not be
localized. And also, we also have other similar strings which can not be localized:

   GNU C Compiler
   GNU C++ Compiler
   GNU Fortran Compiler
   Sun C Compiler
   Sun C++ Compiler
   Sun Fortran Compiler

All the above messages can be found in the source files at:
cnd/makeproject/src/org/netbeans/modules/cnd/makeproject/api/compilers
