Description dante 2007-03-02 18:09:23 UTC
When using the String Concat function within the XLST Mapper it will allow you
to double-click on one of the string values and enter a String Literal. When you
exit the edit mode (tab or Enter) the value entered is not saved; i.e. it
returns to the default value string1 ... etc.

This is not a show stopper because the issue can be worked around by dragging a
'String Literal' component onto the canvas and editing to contain the value and
then connecting this to the appropriate string concat position.

Nikita, please look at this issue
Comment 6 Nikita Krjukov 2007-04-06 16:08:49 UTC
There is ambiguity in case when user specifies the filed value and links
another value. So I rejected the possibility to edit parameters inside of
Concat function and for the other similar cases. Now it's only possible to link
String literal to such field.

I hope we return such functionality back a bit later.
