Original status: 3-Accepted; Suggested Status: NEW Original submitter: lfitzgerald Description: Build4/vwp trunk 020707 Calendar is rendering poorly at runtime. Steps: 1. drag a basic > calendar onto designer 2. deploy 3. press calendar button On [7 browser] it looks really bad, on [FF browser], the year dropdown is not on the same row as the arrows. Evaluation: Looking at it on [FF browser], I am not sure if the appearance has changed; therefore, I'm not sure there's a regression there. I have [7 browser] so I could not test it on [6 browser]. On [7 browser] there are problems--namely the appearance and JavaScript errors.
Lark has confirmed that this a regression, so I've begun working on a fix.
Reassigning to pegah, and attaching 97015-for-pegah.zip. The attachment contains a diff.txt with my fixes. These need to be verified as not harming Scheduler. The attachment also contains four images: old and improved screenshots for both [ff2 browser] and [7 browser].
Created attachment 39188 [details] diff.txt plus old and improved screenshots for both browsers
I applied the changes in layout.css to that file in my workspace and didn't see any rendering problem for the Scheduler. There used to be a lot more space between the month and year drop down menus which seems to have been reduced with Matt's current fix. Tested with FF2 and IE7. Didn't apply the changes in the CalenderMonthRenderer (in renderCloseButton() method) as those apply to Calendar only.
Tested changes on [browser 6], and saw improvement. Attaching screenshots. Integrated into 402 and trunk. Marking fixed.
