Description Erick 2001-02-14 01:59:34 UTC
When using nb, window geometry does not seem to be saved. After exit and
restart, windows randomly appear, sometimes overlapping (covering) each other

RedHat Linux 7.0, Gnome+Sawfish

I believe this is just a problem with either the JDK and/or your window manager.
Definitely for Sawfish there are special workarounds you can add to your RC file
to make it work better with NetBeans. Please ask on nbusers@netbeans.org how to
do this; probably it should be in our FAQ if it is not already. I hope that a
future JDK release will be more carefully tested against a wide range of window
managers, currently only a limited number are well-supported on Linux.
