please provide netbeans & jdk version info.

btw, removing folder '<nbuserdir>/config/Windows2Local' might solve your problem
Comment 5 Stanislav Aubrecht 2007-02-14 14:59:32 UTC
the stack trace indicates it might be rave/creator issue - reassigning for
evaluation
Comment 6 Mark Dey 2007-02-20 23:47:49 UTC
com.sun.rave.designer noted in the exception. Passing to Peter for initial
evaluation.
Comment 7 Peter Zavadsky 2007-02-22 01:02:18 UTC
This is not a problem of the designer. Simply the component of id
"CommonPalette" was not loaded by window system, and this exception doesn't say
why, it is just a consequence of the missing palette.

The problem is why the palette component was not loaded. As the description from
window system PersistenceManager says, it could be because of the module was
missing, disabled etc. Assigning back. This is not a designer issue.
Comment 8 Stanislav Aubrecht 2007-02-22 10:34:16 UTC
mrinalr, pls provide your netbeans, jdk and os info

also, try removing '<nbuserdir>/config/Windows2Local' to solve the problem.

(downgrading the priority as i'm pretty sure there's a workaround)
Comment 9 Stanislav Aubrecht 2007-03-19 15:05:05 UTC
