The customer's report is as below: --------------------------------- When you create a dropdown , the IDE gives it a default name dropdown1 etc. when you rename it to ex mydropdown , it does not rename the selectitems and converters associated with the dropdown , and you have to do that manual. This causes a problem when you create few dropdowns and by default they have the same selectitems name. This is true for any other component, listbox, textfields etc. I think it should rename all the parts associated with that component so you don??t have to manual rename them one by one. Below are the steps: ------------------- 1. Drag and drop a dropdownlist component 2. In the property sheet for the dropdown, change the id to myDropdown 3. Notice the name of the components in the Application outline. The dropdown is renamed as myDropdown but the dropdown1SelectItems remains the same The customer would like the dropdown1SelectItems also to be renamed as myDropdownSelectItems A CR had been filed some time ago regarding the problem with renaming dropdowns.
