Comment 3 july 2007-02-07 10:58:35 UTC
This problem to generating when I use jdk 1.6.0
Comment 4 dlipin 2007-02-07 11:10:36 UTC
The user installed entpack milestone6 (build 070206).
Most probably it is the JDK 1.6 problem on MacOSX.
Nevertheless reassigning to identiry for evaluation.
Comment 5 Peter Liu 2007-02-08 03:48:25 UTC
This might be an issue with the proxy setting in the IDE. Go to Tools->Options
to bring up the Options dialog. Try setting the proxy setting to "No Proxy" and
see if the problem goes away.

Also, have you tried using jdk1.5 instead? If not, please try to see if jdk1.6
is indeed the problem. Thanks.

Comment 6 Peter Liu 2007-02-14 05:37:21 UTC
This problem only occurs with jdk1.6 on MacOS and works fine with jdk1.5.

Comment 7 Peter Liu 2007-02-15 20:58:46 UTC
The workaround is to use jdk1.5 on MacOS.

Server Log of App Server startup errors with Apple + Java 1.6
Comment 11 tonybeckham 2007-02-20 20:32:22 UTC
There are many errors on server startup when using java 1.6.0-dp from Apple Computer Inc. that may
help understand the problem. See the attached serverlog for evaluation. Java 1.5.0_07 is the most up to
date version supported by Apple (1.6 is developer preview only)
Comment 12 Alexei Mokeev 2007-03-05 17:26:35 UTC
Removed Beta EP551_WAIVER_APPROVED keyword - we are going forward to FCS.
Comment 13 Peter Liu 2007-03-05 18:11:46 UTC
jdk1.6 beta for MacOS is not a supported jdk. Downgrading this bug to p4. We
will keep an eye out on this the jdk1.6 goes FCS.
